About Me

My name is Alua Tazhbayeva, and I am a 4th year student at Savannah College of Art and Design, pursuing a Bachelor degree of Fine Arts in Motion Media Design with a minor in Advertising.

Originally from Kazakhstan, I moved to the United States with my family in 2013. I work under the design name tzhb, a shortened version of my last name, Tazhbayeva. Derived from the Kazakh word “Tazhbai,” meaning “crown,” the name reflects my cultural heritage and the pride I take in my background.

My personality and culture deeply influence my motion design practice. I am particularly drawn to exploring unconventional visual narratives and dynamic compositions. In addition to motion design, I have a strong interest in fashion styling, photography, videography, graphic design, and concept creation.
